    • “I wish to register a complaint”. Thus begins one of the most famous comedy sketches of all time, from Monty Python’s Flying Circus. A satire on poor customer service. Demonstrating the brilliance of the Monty Python team. It was first aired in 1969 and featured regularly in the group’s shows and live tours, becoming a firm favourite amongst Monty Python fans. Our Steiff Teddy bear pays tribute to the John Cleese character, that of a customer complaining that the parrot purchased “not half an hour ago from this very boutique” is dead. Michael Palin, as the pet shop owner, protests that the Norwegian Blue (“beautiful plumage”) is only “resting”. As subsequent claims and denials only increase the absurdity, it is finally revealed that this is indeed, an “ex-parrot”! Celebrate the unique and timeless humour of Monty Python with us.
