The Okapi is a herbivorous ruminant of the giraffe family, although its neck is not as large as its cousin. It generally lives in the mountains and tropical forests. At birth, the male has small bony horns which will only become covered with skin after about 5 years and this skin will be renewed every year.
Head off on an expedition with the Papo Okapi figurine. It will enchant young and old alike with its realism and high level of detail.

Nothing is left to chance: correct postures and morphology, faithful reproduction of the animal's main characteristics. The Papo Okapi is an intriguing herbivore that hides in the mountains and forests of Congo. In fact, it is one of the last ancestors of the giraffe, with shorter hind legs than the front ones, a slender snout and large ears with well-developed hearing. The species is threatened by deforestation.

Once Upon a Time There was Papo
For almost 25 years now, Papo has been helping children to grow and to discover the world around them. Childhood is a time of dreams and adventures, and this was what we had in mind when we decided to create our first princesses, princes, dragons and knights. Thanks to the originality of its products and the extreme care taken with product quality and safety, Papo has won children and parents over the years. Papo is now a reference in the world of model figures and continues to develop new ranges to inspire the imaginations of children all around the world. In an age of mass consumption and throwaway goods, Papo continues to produce fine quality toys that last over time and can be passed on from generation to generation.
