This magical activity is based on a photographic process: cyanotype. Using opaque patterns, you can create designs on photosensitive paper. When exposed to sunlight, a negative of the patterns is produced on the paper. Then, all you need to do is rinse the paper in a clean water bath and watch as the design appears on the blue background! These creations are then the night scenes forming backgrounds for the 4 poetic pictures and their illustrations.
